Dr. Vinay Mahendra is a true businessman whose single goal is to make money. He does provide care to patients and their families. He has no time to explain or discuss matters with patients’ families. Several donors experienced numerous difficulties following Dr. Vinay’s robotic surgery. We do not recommend him for a kidney transplant. He already failed one kidney transplant on Feb 2023, where the patient lost his life due to the negligence of doctors.

After the death of my teacher due to the kidney transplant performed by Dr. Vinay Mahinder and his team, which included Dr. Manish Jain at Apollo Hospital Kolkata, I have been deeply concerned about his medical practice. Not only did he fail to save my teacher’s life, but also didn’t provide sufficient care during and after the procedure. He lacks medical knowledge and experience, which makes me question his ability as a doctor. Even, The doctor lacked experience in Robotic Nephrectomy, He failed to explain the risks and didn’t provide the necessary information that needed, resulting to go through a much more complicated procedure than anticipated.

The brand ambassador of Apollo hospital Dr. Vinay Mahinder, and his team including Dr. Manish Jain and others, are responsible for the death of my teacher great writer, and author, after kidney transplant operations and post-care process on 12th Feb due to gross negligence and carelessness. The kidney transplant hero of Apollo is only after earning money like a businessman and playing with the life of patients. Dr. Vinay Mahendra ( WBMC-71640) and Dr. Manish Kumar Jain (WBMC-72049) combination of Apollo hospital is a total failure. Even the Robotic Nephrectomy of Dr. Vinay Mahinder is a total failure in many cases. I just read on the internet that West Bengal Medical Council suspended the practicing license of a urologist, Dr. Vinay Mahendra, for a period of two years starting last November for medical negligence. I think most of these patients do not know that he is suspended by West Bengal Medical Council for negligence. I will advise people to keep their patients away from him if they want patients to be alive.

Dr. Vinay Mahendra’s Robotic Donor Nephrectomy is a failure. He claims that the patient will be out in 2 days. There is a practical case where the donor could not go for 10 days because of his overconfidence and negligence in Robotic Donor Nephrectomy. The latest I have seen is a case where donor stitches were bleeding for 10 days after doing Robotic Donor Nephrectomy. Apollo hospital and Dr. Vinay Mahendra, and Apollo charged 2 lacs for this Robotic operation which was not at all successful. Apollo is making all false claims about Robotic success stories. The latest kidney transplant patient died on Feb 2023 due to carelessness.

My Chandigarh cousin had been diagnosed with kidney disease, and we were desperate to find the best hospital to perform her kidney transplant.
We decided on Apollo Hospital Kolkata, which proved to be one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made!
Throughout the procedure, the doctors, including Dr. Vinay Mahendra, Dr. Manish Kumar Jain, and Dr. Sanjib Majumdar, as well as the nurses and personnel, were careless and unprofessional. The entire process was painfully slow and inefficient. My aunt died in February 2023 as a result of the above doctors’ egregious carelessness and a lack of adequate medical treatment at Apollo Hospital; I strongly consider any form of medical procedure.
