Indian rupee gain and IT employee

Indian rupee has gained in last one year by 9% against USD what will be impact of this change on employee of the Information technology. Indian software big giant are suffering from rupee change and employee will be positively affected by this change.

In last past few month there was rise in inflation rate and Indian Government   was interested to bring down it to reasonable level. And there was tremendous rise in Indian stock market and every body is interested in investing money in stock market of India as expected growth rate of India is at higher lever of 9%. Excess flow of USSD in India and Reserve Bank of Indian intention not to control the gain in rupee has resulted into making rupee stronger against USD and rate per USD come down from 47 INR to 40 INR

The major looser are Indian software industry which has not expected such heavy losses of around 10% in a year and now they are not expected to achieve growth rate projected. So margin in software export in India has come down

Employees of Indian software industry are expecting much higher growth because of demand of software personal in India. The expected rise in this industry is more than 30 % per annum. But now with the low margin IT companies will not be in position to offer higher pay or package to every one in this industry. The IT companies will now pay much good price only to efficient worker as they cannot meet there growth rate with inefficient and non trained employee. So IT employee should not try to jump from one company to another in coming day to get higher pay better is stay with old company and watch the industry scenario.

To cope with the competition in International market and loss of rupee against USD IT companies are not left with any option except to increase productivity and reduce the cost of input where Human resources is the major factor.
