Indian Consulate office in Karachi would start functioning from January, an Indian diplomat posted at the Indian high commission in Islamabad.
The demand for re-opening of the consulate had been coming from both the sides, India and Pakistan, since the two countries began exchanging confidence building measures (CBMs).
