US President George W Bush has condemned the deadly series of bomb blasts in Delhi and said these attacks have yet again showed that terrorists were enemies of humanity.
He said, “By targeting innocent civilians on the final preparations for holiday celebrations, terrorists have demonstrated yet again that they are enemies of humanity” .
On behalf of the American people, the President extends his deepest condolences to all of those who lost loved ones.
Three powerful explosions on Saturday evening in the crowded markets and a bus in Delhi killed over 60 people and 210 others were injured.
Terming the attacks a “cowardly act”, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had on Sunday said that terror knows no borders and respects no religion.
