W.Bengal CM speech in the convention

Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal said in Kolkata on Sunday that his Government was completely supportive of the Right to Information Act and was working toward making it operational by January.

He also said that the State Government was committed to the implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 and that the coverage of the mid-day meal scheme to all government and government-aided primary schools in the State was nearly total. About 600 delegates from 15 States took part in the convention.
