Mumbai Marathon- 2006
Mumbai Marathon-2006 will be held on Jan 15, flagged-off at 8.15 a.m. from Azad Maidan and the runners would pass through D N road, Hutatma chowk, Mahatma Gandhi road, Mantralaya and Cama road.
The Bollywood Industry accompanied by cricketers and business tycoons are taking part in this marathon to raise funds for charity. But with some people, it’s always been a habit.
The run will be divided into five categories - the longest run will be of 42.195 km, the half marathon will be of 21.097 km, the Dream Run will be of 7 km, Senior Citizens’ Run will be of 5 km and the Wheelchair Event will be of 3.5 km. The total prize-money on offer is 2,10,000 US Dollars.
