‘The Kapoors’- A book on Kapoor family
Delhi-based writer Madhu Jain’s book, ‘The Kapoors - The First Family of Indian Cinema’, narrating biographical details of Kapoor family, was launched by veteran actors Shashi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in New Delhi recently.
The book is a comprehensive compilation of the life of legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor and his family. It begins with Prithviraj and his unyielding passion for cinema that brought him all the way from Peshawar to Mumbai in 1928 with just 100 Rs. in his pocket.
At last, That struggle have given them a pride.
