Microsoft to have 7,000 engineers in India
Chairman of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates said on Wednesday that the company was planning to increase the number of engineers working on its products in India to 7,000 from 4,000 over the next 3-4 years.
The planned increase in the number of engineers includes those working for Microsoft’s Indian software vendors such as Infosys Technologies Ltd.
